Why now?

If you’re here reading this it probably means you’re ready for change, but don’t know how to do it.  That’s reason enough right there.  Once you start understanding the journey, it will sit in your mind, and ring a little bell in there when you need to hear it.  It’ll say ‘this is your live-out-of-balance moment’, or ‘you just met your mentor figure’.  You don’t have to do anything about it if you don’t want to, but you’ll know.  You’ll be armed and dangerous.  You’ll probably do this for a while until you start acting on it, but that’s perfectly normal.

Then one day you’ll see yourself start moving, start taking steps on a journey and all you have to do is be brave and keep walking.  There’s no one keeping score, and there won’t be any mid-term tests.  You can walk at your own pace.  But once you start seeing the benefits you’ll start walking faster, paying closer attention, and being more heroic automatically.  You’ll see yourself growing into it.

Being the hero of your own life doesn’t mean you have to jump off a bridge or run into a barrage of bullets.  It means keep walking bravely at your own pace.  But keep walking.
